    Hi,
Does anyone know of any good software for creating logos, or know of any good websites for logo templates, willing to pay for the creation of a logo, but the budget is tight.

    Thanks.

if you value your business at all, dont use a template. Use a pencils & paper, followed by illustrator or another vector program to do the logo in, although with the cost of software, you'd be better just hiring a designer to do a decent job for u. How tight is your budget - keep in mind your logo is the most important visual representation of your business.

If you do want to go the route of getting a logo template try http://www.pixellogo.com/ their logo's are well designed and good value for money. Try and get an exclusive logo if you can afford one, because you don't want to find out someone else has the same logo as you.

You should probably go to the photoshoppage forum and ask one of the guys there if they would be interested in designing a logo for you.

Well you get what you pay for, but if funds are short use:

Closer to home, you will always get a design student/graduate who wants to beef up their portfolio.

I'm a student actually and I've done a bit of logo design. PM me your email address and I'll send you some examples of the work that I've done. Don't want to piss off any of the mods by posting them here.
