Anybody got any recommendations for a 22 handicapper looking to move down. Iron play is fair, don't use 3/4 irons i have a Mizuno FLi Hi CLK 20' instead which i love. Have been looking around for a nice 3 wood and a driver.

I'm wondering if the 460 cc would be better for somebody not that confident driving.

    Any thoughts appreciated.

The 3 wood that I am using at the moment is the King Cobra SZ hyper steel. I have found this club very forgiving and I generally don't have any major problems.

With regards to a driver, my best advice is to read about several drivers and experiment. If you live in Dublin, go to golfworks in Spawell, Templeogue and try some of the demo clubs there. I use the ping G2 and it is very forgiving.

Remember, there is not a single club in the world that will suddenly lower your handicap by several strokes. If possible, spend some money on lessons and you will thank yourself for it.
