That looks sweet man...must buy weird shaped guitar......

It's too weird even for me - plus I can barely manage 6 strings - 8 is way too many.
But it does look to be beautifully crafted.

Extended range is the way forward my friend!

That's what they said when it was suggested the earth revolves around the sun, or when people thought the earth was flat, when it's actually a mobius strip. Just play a few scale runs on a 7 string, and you'll see just how right it is!

... when people thought the earth was flat, when it's actually a mobius strip....!

You're my kind of cosmologist, I see.

OK, if I get a chance to embarass myself on a 7 string I'll give it a blast.

(but I still think that if Grud wanted us to play 7 string guitars he'd have given us ... ehhhh, well, a whole bunch of fingers)

It doesn't take more fingers... Jaysis, if you think like that, then why don't you go and restrict yourself to the bass (4 string only)?

I do find it easier just to stick to one string ..... ;)

Edit: and dont call me Jaysis, I dont like to use my real name on the internets.

    So do Korn.
Well, if you're not going to take advantage of the whole range of the instrument, then I suppose it's not much use to you. Still, extended range is the way forward, and you should definetly try your hand at it sometime.

I second that. Tradition is one thing but progress has to be made. Expand and grow.
