ntl digital and usb tv card

just got ntl digital a few weeks back,
finally got around to getting a few spare cables so i could hook it up to my usb tv card.

the tv card has worked fine in the past with my vcr and normal cable,
obviously ive checked and it still does

the image im getting from ntl digtial is horrible.
ive had it on the tv and its perfect so the wires are not to blame.

ive attached a sample recording, dont worry about the sound, i just set that to low quality to keep file size down,

if anyone has any ideas on how to improve the image id very mcuh appreciate it.

ahah,
its just interlacing,
plays back fine on the tv-out.

anyone know how to get rid of it on the laptop?

That done the trick, although I can't watch it yet, nothings working on my puter. I'll have to restart, haven't done that in a few months...

Sorry bud I've no idea how to get rid of it. But, I wouldn't mind watchin the rest of the simpsons.....

Try to see will "DScaler" work with your usb card. Dscaler does a fantastic job of deinterlacing, it actually uses the same filters and routines that VirtualDub uses, just it uses them in real time. Quality picture
