Been looking at Jaguar Computers web site, they are based in Dublin off the Naas rd
    http://www.jaguarcompsys.ie/

Quite impressed with there prices, i was going to buy another DELL , but Jaguar have a nice package with very good prices for upgrades to the basic system...
I have looked here already for recommendations, but dont see many....if any, they have been around since 1997....................anyone dealt with , bought, recommend them??

Bought a PC from them 2 years ago, works fine. It's since been sold on to a friend of mine but it's working fine. They use ASRock motherboards and cheapo powersupplies though, whether that bothers you or not is another thing. He's never had any stability problems at all with his machine so I'd definitely give them the thumbs up. They were by far the cheapest around then and still seem pretty good at the moment

They were recommended to me by a friend a few months ago - and I can pass that recommendation on from my own experience.

I went to buy some RAM for 2 machines - and I have to say the guy was great.
He was extremely helpful (I was out of touch with the latest) and he gave me advice on what to get.

I needed Rambus - which he didn't have (not surprising since nearly no-one has it) - but he advised me to check eBay - turned up trumps at half the retail price - thx mate :)

I also needed EDO for an old machine on which DVD playback was choppy. He said the RAM wouldn't solve that problem (the processor was only 200MHz) and said there's no point in me spending money on the RAM. That's very honest. I bought it anyway coz I was letting my son use the PC and the extra RAM would speed some apps up a little. He was right about the DVD playback.

I think taht i will give them a go, i was aking about the PSU as it goes, as in the future i might want to power 3hdd, and maybe 3 opitcal drives, the guy siad that u could double up some of teh Power leads to the drives, but this wasnt an ideal thing to do, he recommened a 450w PSU, i think that this would cost 30euro extra....
No bad reports then , that good so, thnks guys!

I always found them a little more than slightly steep price-wise (all the prices listed are exclusive of VAT @ 21%, for anyone who hasn't bought from them before).

Komplett was a relief when it came along.

Not bad have some cheap stuff but most of their gear isnt great brands so just research what you buyiong , getting vat free from them can be a cheap shopping trip.

I bought a machine off them in 1997 (p2-266 etc.). Beyond taking an absolute age to get the machine, all wrong drivers and lack of cables :( - my only complaint is that the processor was a p2-233 overclocked to p2-266 (bastids). 2005-1997 = 8 (jeez - I can't still be bitter after all these years :D).
