    What version of Media Player?

In MP9, go to Tools > Options > File Types and uncheck Music CD Playback

No,that doesn't seem to work.it still pops up.I even unchecked everything in the list to make sure and it still comes up.

    Try this..
Right click on CD Drive in My Computer
    Go to Properties
    Go to AutoPlay
Select Music CD from the drop down menu
Click the radio button for "select an option to perform"
    Select Take no Action.
    Apply.
    Ok.

    Ok.
Which, for the record, only applies in Windows XP.
