Just came across this site that has some of the most appalling football shirts ever worn. I have to hold my hand up and admit that I did own the Leeds shirt featured on the site, but in my defence your honour, it was given to me as a present. Worthy of special mention is the Colorado Caribou shirt with tassels!!!!

Feel free to post any other affronts to taste that didn't make it onto that site.

There's some pretty awful stuff there alright.

That said tho I liked ManCity's darkblue/white away and Liverpools silver away. They shouldn't be in there imho!

Some of those shirts are lovely!

I really like the NEC Nijmegen, S-Pulse, Man City (flourescent stripes), Celtic, Sport Boys, Everton (that's really nice!) and the old Villa one.

The worst jersey i've ever seen was quite recently (last season maybe?) for some spanish team. I'll see if i can dig it up.

    here it is:

You didn't have to go digging kaids. That Bilbao one was already on the page (11 rows down).

    Agh!

    I'm blinded!

The Celtic jersey is one of the best selling jerseys in Europe.

Oh dear god, that Bilbao jersey is horrendous! They must have thought Gabriel Heinze was going to sign for them. Geddit?
Hahahaha I'm so funny me. :p

That Bilbao jersey makes your eyes cross and water. It's absolutely hideous.

There are some beauts on that site, but my personal favourite is that Man Utd "Robin Hood" jersey with the neck ties. That was just terrible

Was it Everton or Blackburn (or possible Man City) who had a dashing navy and salmon pinstripe number about 10 years back? That was rancid.

Arsenal's newest red-currant-purple-what-the-fcuk offering. As an Arsenal fan I find this embarrassing. It was bad enough when they changed the classic cannon crest to this plastic-tacky-sh*te. See that? THAT'S red. Not this:
Oh god what were they thinkin...

    And how bout this:
BUY IT NOW - Eh... No thanks. In fact, I'll pay you NOT to wear it...

ah that arsenal jersey is a historical thing tho, they wore that colour in their first season at highbury so theyre wearing it in the last

    seems fitting enough

Surprised that Grey Man U one hasn't been mentioned, that made them lose footy matches

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,391 ✭✭✭arbeitsscheuer

    Yeah me too.
Although it must be said that Chelsea's Grey/Orange combo from the 95/96 season was much worse as an away kit. And Notts Forest's yellow away kit that looked like someone had thrown up all over it is pretty bad. I'll have a look for pics and post them here so you can decide for y'selves.

This is the "graphite and tangerine" (boll0cks) effort from Chelsea.
    Urgh.

Juventus' pink away kit of 1997 also deserves a mention.

Stockport County circa 1993. I think the design got run over by a tractor.

Looks like somebody p*ssed down the sides of it.
Ah well, if they win the league ya won't be complaining will ya? (I am of course assuming you are a Cork fan)

    Apologise immediately.

I am a Shels fan.

    Oh jesus I apologise.
I should be able to spot a fellow Shels fan by now, honestly...

Anyway, in that case, if they win the league we can use the fact that their shirt is cr*p as a stick to beat them with.

"Ya might've won the league but ya still look like the Reds p*ssed all over you!!" etc
