    he did promise that the service, which will offer customers up to 12 channels, would be competitive

    i can only see this making any kind of impact for those with analogue MMDS

    A couple of things come to mind on this....

    Ildana are based in Clonee, Co. Meath, but they have little broadband coverage in the county. They have community based broadband more along the western seaboard than Co. Meath. They have won a good few of the last Group Broadband Scheme grants in the last tranch from DCMNR.

    Ildana use a satellite/wireless combo system for broadband. Its satellite to a base station in the locality, then rediffused wirelessly from there. TV, this way, wont exactly be live....
