lets see.. you have cable internet.. and u still dont have enough bandwidth?? greedy greedy man u are... smile.gif why not get the isdn removed to save a few punts on the phone bill instead? look at it this way, ure one of a small minority of people in ireland that have cable/wireless access and u want more? is there a history of mental problems in your family?

I would have imagined you would be required to use something along the lines of multilinking the cable modem and the ta for ure isdn.. dont know if its possible tho, seeing as the cable modem doesnt dial out. interesting project to work on.. I'll try it *when* I get cable internet smile.gif

Well you see, I have a contract on the ISDN line and I can't get out of it, so it's literally wasting away, I live in Birmingham btw ;-), any ideas on how this can be done would be appreciated :-)

    Thanks again

I suppose you could stick them both on one machine, get the isdn to connect first, and then when you are using up the bandwidth get the cable to connect. I don't know how to do it with windows, but i'm sure it's possible.

With linux you could use some sort of Quality of Service, ie if you cant get both of them to work together, which I doubt you will, then just specify 1 connection for certain websites/protocols and the other connection for different ones ?

well with an asus ta and its software you are adle to tell it to connect the second line if the first reaches a set amount of useige. I'd say there is a program out there that can do the same with different devices.
more than likely it would be some sort of a proxy

if you used some kind of router to join the connections.
like LinkSys -BEFSR41- Network Router but i think that only manages Cable/DSL but im sure you will find a solution.
