Sitting in comfortable mid position in a $10stt and playing fairly tight. Dealt AJo on the big blind, the short stack pushes and is called by the chip leader. I should probably either re-raise all-in or fold, most likely the latter. Decide to split the difference and flat call a third of my stack. Hit an A and J on the flop and, predictably, get my chips in..

Probably not, I would have expected him to push regardless of what flopped if he had been first to act, seeing as he had me covered and had also rivered a winning hand twice earlier in the game. There was only going to be one outcome once the Ace and Jack flopped.

ul - although AJ is a terrible hand to be calling major raises with in a three-way pot preflop. You'd have to assume that someone has you dominated (even though they don't in this case). After-flop play seems perfect, but is always going to be a 'fingers-crossed' moment, rather than a 'ship-it' moment.
