really like the 1st one, but I'd have photoshopped the 'money transfer' advert out of that window in the background.

2nd one does have a certain charm about it tho, in a kinda war of the worlds type way!

3rd one's okay too, but a bit too much of a stereotypical 'country scene' about it imho.

    it's all good tho.

tbh, personally, i don't like the first one. It's out of your control, but it would be a lot more interesting if it were a blue sky! THe clouds give it a boring sort of light. Dark and Dull. Also, leaving in that red sign "money transfers" is distracting and takes away from the photo IMO.
I like the second one, i think the mist and grey adds to the photo. I think it should be cropped a bit though. Maybe something like this (it has a white border-cant see it on the white background!).
The third one is the most interesting IMO.

    thanks for the tips.

i did consider cropping the crane one, just was unsure.
never even thought of getting rid of the money transfer sign!!! makes perfect sense.

    thakns again!

I really like the colours in the third one. the socond one i think would have been alot better had it been a sunnier day but then you cant control the weather so there was nothing you could do really. Im a bit unsure about the first one I like it but i feel its missing something....what exactly i dont really know

I like the first one. Its more interesting.

The second one i dont really like. Nothing to do with the photo, but i dont see beauty in it.

The third I really like. Strange because its a boring topic for most people, but you can just see and feel the serenity and lazy days, the thoughs of memeories of young kids goign out somewhere like that and staying out for the day without any risk of danger.

Ah well, its only my opinion :)

    Keep it up.

The first and second pics aren't bad but your third pic is brilliant I love it. Where was it taken?

in a place called Clogga (i think) in Arklow. There are 80 steps i think leading down to a small beach, they are really spooky at night but i think the location is a really peaceful and beautiful place.

Thanks Bamboozled, thats exacly what the place is like.

No. 3 (Trees and steps) has good structural lines but a great improvement would be if you went back there on a very sunny day to achieve dappled light through the trees and more contrast between light and shadows. I know it's hard to plan a sunny day..

I really like 2and3. 2 gives a very modern life appeal and the third one is just plain beautiful
