    Hi,

    1. Keyboard is probably now set to US style keyboard. You need to set it to Ireland/UK keyboard. This is done in Regional Options/Settings in Control Panel. Input locales i think its referred to.

    2. Maybe your memory is shared with the graphics card in the laptop (not unusual). You can specify how much memory the gfx card uses.

Well the first one is easy. Go into the control panel, keyboard, input locals tab, and if you see it click english Ireland and make it your default setting. That will sort out that problem.

How did you add the memory to your system? Two 512mb sticks or what? more info needed here....

    Hey John,

You need to change the language options. It's probably set to american english. If you change that to Irish you should be all good!!! Just go to Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options.

    1. Your keyboard has defaulted back to English (US). Go to Control Panel -> Regional Options and switch the keyboard to either English (British) or English (Ireland). This will put the @ and the " back on the right keys. To get the Euro symbol use Alt Gr. and 4

    2. What are you using to get the 960 number. Right click on My Computer -> Properties and you should see the right amount in the "Computer:" section

    S.

You lot and your fast advice.....

what you're looking for is under start->settings->control panel->keyboard

Edit: Card info should be in the bios.
