    Hi,
I have poker.ie set as my homepage and I use o2.ie quite allot too. Within the past 2 weeks, both have been really slow on my pc, it's only these 2 sites. At first i thought it was the poker.ie server, but I checked on another pc in another location and it was the way it had been before. My brother also says it's fine for him where he is and we have had no complaints from our users

I have broadband with UTV. I'm not too sure what it is, everything else is fine, files download at the right speed etc. Even when I send email from my @poker.ie address from thunderbird, it takes ages to send. This seems to be a problem only on my laptop for some reason:( I must check it on the pc downstairs actually too.

O2 have been having big problems since yesterday. I was on the phone to them as the wap/GPRS service is knackered too.

o2's webtext is generally extremely slow. When i hit "send" i sometimes get a reply before the screen updates to show i've sent the message :P

Ok thanks for the feedback, could some of you try poker.ie and let me know if it's slow to load up? It used to do it instantly but not now:( I tried it on the pc downstairs (same UTV connection) and it's slow there too, but as I said it was ok on other PCs.

    Thanks:)

Damn! Any idea why that could be? I seem to be the only one poker.ie is slow for. Why would that be  It's been like that for a while now for me.

Its always a good idea to send a txt to yourself as well as to whom you send it with o2 webtxt, so you know roughly how long it takes to deliver...

it cant b trusted. Even if you did get logged in yesterday to send it was taking 3odd hours to deliver!

Yup, I've had my number in my phone book on o2 for a looong time for that.

Has anyone any idea why poker.ie is slow on my connection only? Every other site seems fine (except o2).

o2 has been up and down for me and it usually is, if I just refresh it might go faster. However, does anyone know whats up with my connection with regards poker.ie. I timed it there, I have it set as my homepage so I clicked the explorer button in the task bar and from the time I clicked that to the time it said 0 items remaining (Done) was 43 seconds!!!! That's ridiculous and I think it's only happening on my connection. I have broadband. I mean, with a good connection (like updating poker software) I could download a 2mb file in 43 seconds.

hmmm.. maybe.. but poker aint gambling;)

Has anyone the slightest idea what may be causing this? It's strange.

what the fudge??!?! All of a sudden poker.ie is now back to it's normal speed for me. What was that about? After about 3 weeks?!? I didn't do anything either, it was slow as it has been for the past 3 or so weeks today, I came back tonight and it was normal speed it should be and is for everyone else. Strange
