Yes, very detailed title I know.

Turned on my PC, and am getting the message No signal on my monitor. The pc will also not turn off unless I plug it out from the mains.

I removed the cpu earlier, but put it back in no problem.

    What could be the problem?

Did you reapply the coolant gel when you replaced the CPU? If so, did you use enough? It might be overheating, perhaps?

Did it work since ye reseated the CPU? Is there no beep code codes in the POST? Can ye reseat the video card. IF your still not gettin anywhere try removin all everything from the board but the CPU, It should start beeping when its missin the video card and memory, Ye can then start addin the components to eliminate the problem.

If the CPU isn't in properly you'll get nothing, sometimes not even a POST beep. Reseat the CPU and see how you get on.
