How far ahead is the NTL EPG good for?

I seem to remember when I first got the digital in I could see a day or so ahead on the EPG. Of late I can't see past midnight on any given day and if I set the guide to tomorrow it sits there "Gathering data ...". Is this typical/expected or is it just me?

The farthest I can see is 12:50am on the next day. When I got it first I was getting about 7 days, then it was cut to 3, just 1!

It varies. Sometimes it's 3 days, sometimes, especially late in the evening, it seems impossible to get past midnight the same day. Sometimes .....

Basically it's a pile of crap, but that may be the fault of whoever provides the data for the EPG rather than NTL themselves fr not providing the data on time.

Reboot the box and all listings should appear until a few hours later when they suddenly disappear. Seems a bit of a pain in the arse but there you go - a kit of the older Pace Di4010s never received a software update which switched the EPG from 8 day to 3 day, so up until recently, you could still get listings for the following 8 days, and it usually worked too. So its not a provider problem... Don't know why they ever started fiddling with the EPG code...
