{REQUEST} "Large" TV wanted

    I'm looking for a big tv (NOT PLASMA) over 40" preferably. Was looking at ear projection units in Harvey Norman so maybe something like that. In excellent condition or somewhere I can buy them at a good price. Let me know. :D

    get a sony 44" rear projector for around 1400 euro. got one excellent picture for price

    Yeah I read a bit about that plasma. Don't think i'd bother with Aldi tbh. As for the Rear Projection, where was that one you bought located (store)?

    On rear projection TV's I would look seriously at LCD rear projection over standard rear projection. Picture quality is way ahead.

    make sure they play a DVD for you (or better yet bring your fav dvd with you)

    I just picked up a Sony grandWega 50" for €1800

    Actually I found the sony stores to be very expencive.

    I bought mine at on Sale at a local electrical shop. Dont buy thge stand and if they include the Sony stand int eh price ask them to take it off. Its €740 and you can buy a nicer one at Argos rated for a higher weight for €200.
