just buy an external case for an internal drive! You can get them on komplett.ie

You need one of these -> http://www.komplett.ie/k/kl.asp?bn=10095

The Zynet enclosure on Komplett is very good, I have two of the USB/Firewire ones and both work perfectly. Alternately you can search Ebay for "usb ide" and get something like this.
Not as neat and probably not as good as the enclosure, but cheaper.

    saw some on www.munstercomputers.com.
They have some which are pretty cheap.
e12.50 for P&P, but still cheaper than komplett.ie (me thinks)

Putting any hard drive into a caddy is fairly simple.

Power connector, data connector fit one way.
Scew it together and connect the DC adapter and data cable...simple.

Nope you do not have to do that. It will be set to either master or cable select. No need to mess with the jumpers on the drive! Just follow what zuma said to do.

    No...as simple as that.

If its external and connects through Firewire/USb then it sets itself up automatically(Plug and Play).

    I have 3 external drives(2 x 2.5" and 1 x 3.5") so I know what Im talking about.

    Its really simple!!!
