It is beautifuil, the people are friendly and it is really cheap:)

It was 4 and 6 years ago when I was there and my favourite thing about it is you could make it in to what ever type of holiday u wanted,
If you wanted to lie on the beach and go to pubs you could,if this was your idea of hell for a holiday you could avoid it totally and go on trips everywhere and anywhere,go scuba diving go on horse or jeep safari, see pamukale, the temple of Diane etc

I think you possibley get the message:)

If you do go do not organise ur trips thru the travel agent use the local tour operators they are much cheaper and more enjoyable:)

Irish student killed in Turkish blast

    16 July 2005 16:43
It has been confirmed that an Irish student was among five people killed in what is thought to have been a suicide bomb attack in Turkey this morning. A British tourist was also killed.

The bomb exploded on a minibus in the tourist resort of Kusadasi while it was ferrying tourists to a local beach.

The young woman's identity has not yet been released.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs has condemned the attack and has called on Turkish authorities to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Dermot Ahern also extended his deepest sympathies to the family of victim's family.

The Taoiseach has also condemned the attack, saying once such terrorists have no place in society.

Bertie Ahern said his thoughts and prayers are with those caught up in the atrocity.

Meanwhile, the Government has warned all Irish citizens in Turkey or those planning to travel there to exercise caution and to be particularly vigilant at all times.

A spokesperson for Sunworld, the tour operator with which the victim travelled, has said its flight to Turkey will depart at the usual time from Dublin tonight.

However, it has said that any intending travellers who may wish to cancel may do so without incurring costs.

accom. is not as high a std as you would get in Spain, but as you are 22, you don't give a monkeys.
6 of us went went we were all about 25...stayed in the Ali Tepe apts on the outskirts of the town.
Cheap holiday...lots of young Irish girls.
Apt was mingin, but it was the only one they had that could take all 6 of us under one roof, so we didn't care.
Bear & Food was dirt cheap, weather fantastic and Bar St. was great every night of the week.
    You'll have a great time
