    Rightio,

Someone a few weeks back inspired me to write this!

Sha la la lala lalala UP LAOIS,
Sha la la lala lalala UP LAOIS,
Sha la la lala lalala UP LAOIS.

    When the day is dawning,
    on a Croker Sunday morning,
how we long to get there,
to Sam Maguire waiting for us there.

    Every lonely Village,
    we pass on our way,
    Won't be half as pretty,
as the final score line today.

This is the way to Sam Maguire,
every night we've been training on fire,
    dreaming dreams of Sam Maguire,
and sweet Micko who takes us there.

Sha la la lala lalala UP LAOIS,
Sha la la lala lalala UP LAOIS,
Sha la la lala lalala UP LAOIS.

    There's a blue'n'white flag flying,
hear the song of the O'Moore men singing,
for the Sam Maguire and the team who's coming to win him.
    Just beyond the motorway,
    there's a lovely Laois,
    and we keep on winning,
    even in wind and rain...

This is the way to Sam Maguire,
every night we've been training on fire,
    dreaming dreams of Sam Maguire,
and sweet Micko who takes us there.

Sha la la lala lalala UP LAOIS,
Sha la la lala lalala UP LAOIS,
Sha la la lala lalala UP LAOIS.

Sha la la lala lalala UP LAOIS,
Sha la la lala lalala UP LAOIS,
Sha la la lala lalala UP LAOIS.

If anyone out there can put a backing track to this and use it - feel free!

Lets make this one our own!!!

Mark, to save you the embarrassment of being the only one in the crowd of 82,300 who is missing something - the song refers to the colour of the shorts
