    Yo.

Does anyone know / have any advice on where to get flight cases for amps / guitars in Dublin? I know there's a place in North Lotts (same building as Loop Studios) that does custom cases and they've a bunch of preset templates for different models.

I want to get a flight case for a Vox AC30 and also a Telecaster.

    Cheers,
    S

P.S. Got our first gig coming up with support from fellow Boards Band "Burmashade". See my signature for details! :)

Hmmm...did ya try lookin' online at thomann or musicstore? They have a bunch of stuff like that, no costom made stuff tho (as far as I'm aware) and may be cheaper than buyin' them here

I got a hardcase free with my sheraton yesterday. It's made by Hiscox, they seem to be a pretty good brand.

You should be able to get a flight case for the AC30 from UK dealers through ebay.
Don't be crazy and have one built for you (and pay through your ass) - try ebay first.

    Peter,

Dublin Flight Case Co. will indeed make a case up for you. What they'll also do is charge through the nose for it: €395 euro.

I got a quote from Music Technology Ireland (who, I might add, were particularly helpful) for the same thing but for only €299.

I appreciate the post though, thanks. And thanks to everyone else too. I may check out eBay as well, but it'd have to be quite cheap to be worth it: Shipping on a case like that would be pricey. I could drive in a pick it up from Music Technology Ireland who are in the city centre (Lotts).

    NSP Cases sell through ebay.

And you'll find a ton of different guitar cases too.
