Lets face it anybody who hasnt got at least a passing interest in Japanese Gardens is just plain weird and if possible should be kept at arms length at all times. As my old Aunty Betty used to say"Ah my sweet baby Pighead, throughout this life you shall meet many weird and wonderful people and some of these shall be lucky enough to become your friends, but never,I repeat never make friends with anyone who doesnt declare a love for Alcohol,Gambling or Japanese Gardens"
Although Pighead doesnt really have too many friends he will forever be grateful for the sage like advise that wonderful woman passed on to him.

Anyway Dub 13 you my friend are in for a treat
Dublin is home to Europe’s finest Japanese gardens c.1906 – 1910, you will be able to trace the story of life from oblivion to eternity. This is simply one of Irelands most spectacular gardens, rare exotic plants, wetlands, woodlands and majestic walks.
This tour has something for everyone, there are fantastic facilities within the site, you will have plenty of time to relax and unwind in a truely spectacular location.

As for the national stud? Its full of horses and its great.
PIGSTAT:This flat grass land area is the largest in Europe, and is were the battle scenes for Braveheart were filmed.
I truly envy you dub 13,have a ball buddy

By my calculations he should be there now. What a lucky fellow
I'm guessing he had a fabulous drive to Kildare, the heart of Ireland's horse-breeding industry, on his visit the National Stud and Japanese Gardens. Hes gonna see some valuable horses at the National Stud and learn about breeding and racing. Then he'll stroll through the compact Japanese Gardens, which depict the joys and tribulations of life in traditional Oriental manner.
As i'm typing this i've noticed that my fingers have actually gone green
Oh yes the green eyed monster has really hit hard this time.
Please share your wonderful experience with us by reviewing your trip on you return home dub13,I'll sticky this thread so you can find it easier.
