Relationship Poll

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen,

I don't know how accurate this poll will be given it's target (mostly male, mostly comp. literate) and nature (relatively anon.) but represents an attempt at gauging the merits of relationships (as in boyfriend/girlfriend).

Please vote once in all three sections or option 10 only.

One thing - If you're under 20 please don't vote. You may of course still post, but do indicate rough age - it's not that I don't value your opinions, it's just that your experience will invariably be lacking.

PS - yeah, there's a typo in the 30+ age bracket, but it's obvious what is meant.

b) about to emigrate
c) On the rebound
d) changing jobs/mid 20's crisis and can't get involved with anyone

I'm not in a relationship because I'm not that pushed to get another girlfriend. I mean, (not meaning to be egotistical here) one relationship ends and it takes about a month before something else comes along so I'm just going to be single for a while. Kind of half-interested in someone but she has a boyfriend already.

For the same reason you have difficulty getting into niteclubs.

No idea why i am single. Maybe i am too picky and i tend to drop the ball when an oppurtunity arises. Anyway not a big deal, plenty fish in the sea as they say.

reason: dont go out. since i came back from college we've been goin drinkin in me mates gaf with me friends, so no frmale contact except me female friends. although in all fairness, im only out of a long termer ( woulda been 4 yrs this friday ) so not too pushed to start ridin everything with a pulse.

Why does the option 'not in a relationship' warrant an explanation ??
If you ask me, it's the ones in relationships (unless v happy) that warrant explaining ....

Since you asked, reason I'm not in one is simple ... havn't met anyone nice in ages and don't want to waste time on someone I'm not that into. Prefer to spend my precious time with my great friends and family.

I kinda wondered that myself. Im single, I dont have any particular reason for being so atm. Its like asking why are you in a relationship. You either are or arent.

Single for over a year and a half at this stage (aside from a brief fling around Christmas). In that time I haven't met one person I could actually see myself being with long term though a few of my exes do look like possibilities now and then until I spend a lot of time with them and realise that they're great people, wonderful friends but each have flaws that are serious enough to stop us ever working.

So, I'm single cos I don't meet enough people any more... Man, I miss college!

Because I presumed that those in a relationship all in them for similar reasons, whereas those who are not have more divergent motovations (a relationship being something that stats would suggest you would have to struggle to stay out of in the long term). Of course, I could be wrong.

I dunno, maybe i weird. I do either act like a spa or say feck all when i'm around people i don't know well(depends how drunk i am

). I'm not happy but meh, i don't see any change in the near future so i try not to think about it too much

Me too... single that is What a surprise lol!
I haven't been lookin its far too much effort and like B_Man says 4 years was a long time so hmm think I'll be single for a while yet

its hard to trust someone in dublin
its a mad world we live in
i know there are nice people out there
i am just not that lucky to get them

its better to b single then with someone wrong who dosnt match your ideas or thinking

Ehhh 19 not eligable for this poll but anyway single kinda happy about having freedom and not be restricted in any form about how I live my life but at the same time I do have a craving to be in a relationship as it's been a long time and this does get me down at times......... at least I can spend all my money on myself been single!
