I was thinking of getting a digital camera but I dont know alot about camera's but I want something that will take very good photos and not cost the earth, my friend told me that the Nikon Coolpix series of camera's are excellent, anyone know if this camera is good or recommend another one thats better with similar specs…

Dont really need a 7 meg compact zoom if youre a newbie.
