Couldn't find the 'Veronica Mars' thread nearby so..

Been a couple of people wondering about the status of "Veronica Mars" airing this side of the water. Well.. your questions have been answered:
"LIVINGtv Picks Up Major Programming from Warner Bros. International Television Distribution Post LA Screenings"
    July 06, 2005

London - LIVINGtv, Flextech Television owned entertainment channel, has announced its biggest acquisitions deal to date with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution. The multi-million pound deal saw LIVINGtv beating off fierce competition for four key shows out of this year’s LA Screenings and will be a key part of the channel’s acquisitions offering for 2006.

    ...

Veronica Mars, UPN’s break-out hit about a High School student by day, Private Investigator by night is the second drama of the deal. Starring Kristen Bell, the show is now on its third season in the US and has increased its audience by 40%. Veronica Mars was nominated for ‘Outstanding New Programmes of the Year’ at the annual Television Critics Association Awards this year..
Don't know where it got it's ".. now on it's third season in the US" fact!

    No air-date as of yet!

Ah, this may sucketh, because, as I recall, Living TV aired both Everwood and Joa of Arcadia, similar shows to VM in that they are dramas, day after day very early. I would much prefer something like how Buffy was shown on Sky One, i.e. Thursdays at 8pm. Ah well, I guess I'll just wait for TG4 or TV3 to air it. Funny how RTE hasn't aired a teen show since, maybe, Dawson's Crap. Do they have an aversion or something? Or maybe an inane preference for gawd-awful CSI shows.

The CSI shows get the ratings unlike the teen dramas.
