Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You need an FTPd running on your PC to FTP into the PC to backup your data.

    FileZilla Server

Use Flash Fxp works perfectly for me every time.

I am using flashfxp and have tried using IE also, but the connection keeps timing out.
I wanted to know what settings people were for the ip's, default gateways, etc
If any one knows slayers when you put in the disc for the first with out installing anything there is a network settings/info link, that will pop up a window with network info. What i want to know is what info do I use to ftp the xbox to the pc.....

It might be easier to ftp from the pc to the xbox.

Whats the ip of the xbox?

how are you connected to the xbox, via a xover cable or through a router/hub/switch

Just use an ip that is on the same network as ur xbox one, eg 192.168.1.199

    see can you ping it

I am using a crossover cable

I tried pinging 192.168.1.199 and 192.168.1.200 but on all atemps it timed out.

I have all settings at default on my pc and the two ethernet ports are connected with a crossover cable, also this is all the info given in slayers.

    Type
    IP - 0.0.0.0.
    Line status - 100/Full Duplex
    Ethernet MAC address - 00:0D:3A:49:95:53

The above 4 lines are in blue so I say this relates to the pc
The rest of the line below are in white,

    Setup Network - Yes
    Use Static IP - No
    IP - 192.168.1.200
    Subnetmask - 255.255.255.0
    DefaultGateway - 192.168.1.1
    DNS - 192.63.248.1
    DNS - 217.13.7.140
    Setup Delay - 0

With the ip 0.0.0.0 means that theres no network detected, either your cable is borked or something else?

Can you change Static IP to yes?

ftp is by far, the easiest thing about having a modded xbox, just make sure xbox is set to static, (u cant do it permently obviously if you are runnig off slayer's disc) make sure xbox's ip is higher then pc's, and the subnet is 255.255.255.00 or sometihng (you'll know what i mean when you see it on the NIC's properties.

Doesn't matter got it to work in the end. Just extracted the iso and then changed the evox.ini , then created another iso with the settings from the mrRobbinson guide...
