    Hi all,

I planning to go traveling for year or so and im hoping to hit Austrailia, New Zealand, Thailand and a bit of europe.

Any advise on getting travel and health insurance?

I am a current member of BUPA, but they only cover me if im in Ireland for 6 months of the year.

    Anyone have any info/ideas ?

    Thanks

Most of the travel agencies will offer insurance for the year. Trailfinders and the Australia Travel Centre do good deals. If you aren't going to North America its usually cheaper to get a deal that excludes this.

As far as I remember its about 400 euro for insurance that covers you for the whole year. Cover for skiing/scuba diving etc is usually extra.
