    Hi,

Can anyone confirm where pixmania orders are being sent from? Do they have a warehouse in Ireland?

It says delivery should be within 24 hours with DHL, is this very likely? Or should i expect to wait up to 48hrs?

    Thanks.

*edit* oh yeah, anyone any comments on the Canon A95? Tis my first Digicam. Can't wait to get it!!!! :D

You can follow the progress on their tracking page but yeh takes about 2 days. Anything I've ordered has come through France with no English instructions sometimes, but you should be able to download them from the web site on pdf.

Due to the huge amount of credit card fraud from Irish credit cards, Pixmania may contact you to confirm details etc. this may add a few hours onto the actually order itself, that’s why sometimes it runs over the 24 hrs, but from my experience its 48 hours MAX. Which is still pretty good

Yeah they did that yesterday, i actually placed the order on Sun night. I sent a copy of my driving licence and work id last night, they needed the work id because i wanted it delivered to my work address. If you're getting it delivered to your house you only need something like a drivers licence or utility bill.

Cool, isn't it? I had a similar experience.

Checked first thing in the morning after purchasing and my camera was in Dublin airport. By the time I got to work it was waiting for me at reception

They are good, but I slept tru the first delivery, i rang them they said they would deliver it the next day, they didn't? I then calle dthem up, they said, that the person you were tlaking to obviously didn't do there job, so i got it the next day. bit of a pain, considering it had taken 6 hours to get form paris to ireland, then it to 48 to get from blanch to rathfarnham...
