I have just bought a Sit On Kayak and did a google search for info on any technigues that would help me, but everything seems to relate to Sit In Kayaks which are different and I have a fair amount of experience with them. I am using it on the west coast so would like to get more info on things that I need to know, apart from the safety stuff.

No such thing as a sit on kayak! might be why your having trouble trying to find info about it! I'm guessing what you've got is a surf ski! try doing a search on surf ski's and you'll get a lot of info! if you still dont find any joy give me a shout and I'll point you in the right direction and help!

    best of luck!

Sit on tops or sit on top canoes is what they're refered to as but a sit on top kayak is probably more technically correct.
There are books you can buy tcob1 but I cant remember the titles of them. Havent seen any websites with techniques.

There are a few that explain so stuff, not in great detail but enough to allow me to try things. It is a long time since I did an kayaking of any description and I am wondering if I had thigh straps, would I be able to do rolls or is that too much for for surf ski
