    8. MW GP Finals
    7. Fedor Emelianenko vs Mirko "CroCop" Filipovic
    6. Hidehiko Yoshida vs Kiyoshi Tamura
    5. Mark Hunt vs Gilbert Yvel
    4. Vitor Belfort vs Yuki Kondo
    3. Wanderlei Silva vs Alistair Overeem
    2. Mauricio "Shogun" Rua vs Ricardo Arona
    1. Aleksander Emelianenko vs Antonio Silva

Thoughts? Also it has been rumoured that Tank Abbott may be participating but I'm not sure on how legit that is right now.

Shogun is good, very agressive - great striker with a decent ground game too.

    Kevin,

I hear you wanted to fight Wanderlei in a no time limits no rules old skool vale tudo match but he was scared of your lethal judu chop so he said no...

that's what happened more or less but he didn't like the clause about having to wear a Gi. fedor has no probs thou, i'll scrap him next year.

Yeah but you'll probably withdraw due to Fedor's rumored lederhosen clause. Apparently he trains in traditional teutonic martial arts.

I'm very excited....... but then, I'm very excitable. If this happens it will be tremendous.

i've heard that crocop has been looking for this fight for a long time nad fedor's been putting it off. if they is anyone that can knock fedor down it's crocop with his kick....

Fedor is not putting it off. His hand was injured. He knows they will inevitably fight so it wouldn't make sense. Anyways, this is going to be the biggest fight in the history of MMA - I'd love to be there live ;(

    Predictions?

Really hard to call but personally I don't think anyone can withstand the awesome power of Crocops shorts.
    Crocop by KO......... maybe....

I wouldn't even begin to predict this fight. On one side you have Crocop, the most accurate and cunning striker in MMA today. He's very calculated in his strikes and is only aggressive in his striking when he's rocked someone. He's also got a great sprawl and takedown defense, even Mark Coleman couldn't take him down.

On the other side you have Fedor, a man that nobody has been able to beat, ever (Not including TK's lucky cut). He's walked through anyone and everyone in MMA today. He's beaten Ricardo Arona, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Mark Coleman, Heath Herring, Kazuyuki Fujita, Renato Sobral, Kevin Randleman, Gary Goodridge and Semmy Schilt - All of which who are the who's who of champions or the gatekeepers for Pride.

He walked through former champion Nog on three seperate occasions and has the most brutal GnP in the game today. Fedor's ground game is better than Crocops, a sambo champion but Fedor's striking has alot of holes, alot of which I believe Crocop can take advantage of. Maybe Fedor knows this and won't play his usual striking game and will take it to the mat where he can tap Crocop. Has Crocop's training with Fabricio Werdum helped his ground game that much? Who knows.

This fight can really go either way. Crocop seems very confident in himself but Fedor has no emotion whatsoever - A real life Ivan Drago. I have to go with Fedor on account that he's more well rounded than Crocop but, if Crocop can keep it standing he has a great chance of knocking Fedor out.

To sum it up, I won't be suprised who wins.

i predict a very indesisive ending, perhaps a cut or something. or a split decision (sorry about the oxymoron).
