hi. i applied online for free tickets to the above event, but the tickets given out in a kind of lottery fashion. anybody have any idea of how many tickets are available for the event?

No idea but err its fast flying planes so I suspect unless they erect a 1000feet high worth of fencing there will be no probs seeing it from anywhere in the underlying areas.

its a race, with flight courses similar to ski courses, with 'gates' the planes have to go through. so most of what you would want to see happens near to the ground. also, its for my 4yo son i want to bring... he loves planes, so i would prefer to get him as near to the action as possible... ie: tickets. so if i dont get any and someone has some they dont want, can i have them? check out the link below to see what its about...

I entered the draw to win tickets for this as well but, so far, I haven't come out in either today's or last Monday's draw. There's just one draw left next Monday, I think, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

nope cheer up i did get two tickets in the first draw! i also applied twice more just to increase my chances before i knew id got them so try that before next weeks draw maybe? good luck!

I was sent an email that i won 4 tickets in the first draw - but havnt recieved anything in the post yet - should be good though

got the two I applied for yesterday.... apparently theres parking for 37,500 cars there so make of that what you will in relation to ticket availability

Was there a draw on Friday...? Sheet, I must have missed that by the skin of my *ahem*. No luck in Monday's draw so we'll see what this weeks draw brings.

Is it possible that a print out of the winners notification mail is the actual means of entry, "Ryanair" style?
