Anyone know where I'd find photos of the Lions match in Japan, especially crowd shots?

I'm assuming you are thinking of the Irish Tour in Japan??

I am. Sorry. Not very sporty, me.

I sent some friends over a Tricolour to support the team with and it was requested that they shouldn't display it because it might "cause offence".

How could having a Tri Colour at a Japan v's Ireland match cause offence???????????

i would imagine what was written(or drawn) on it was the offensive thing!

Nothing was written or drawn on it, it was just an ordinary Tricolour. That's why I'm curious to see crowd photos - to see if any other flags were flown in the crowd.

    I'm wondering if

    a) the team is composed of players from both north and south, and so the Northerners' feelings might be being spared the distressing sight of a flag celebrating Orange, Green and the peace between them

    or

    b) the Japanese people running the stadium didn't realise it was the national flag.

What *is* the composition of the Irish rugby squad?

Er.... anyone? I'd really like to know how the team's composed. I'm mad with curiosity at this stage.

Team is made up from both North and South players, if you interested watch who's singing the anthem at the start of the game. You be sure to pick out the northern players from that, especially a certain Ulster Fly Half.

Rugby supporters generally don't get caught up in the politics, won't stop that certain FH being referred to as a useless hun though.

Certain FH? Oh, fly half? (sounds gruesome)

Ahh. I wonder whether Union Jacks were flying at the match?
