As per title, I am currently looking for fellow musicians who are passionate with music as much as I am.

I want to get a start on this project of mine which consists of mixing heavy guitaring with electro type-of-music, combining weird sound effects such as using delay pedal and samples.

My musical influences are very diverse and tend to oscillate between punk-rock/post-rock at times (Sonic Youth, B.R.M.C., Death in Vegas, Mogwai) to a more electronic/trip-hop type (Massive Attack, Bjork, Gotan Project, Nightmares on Wax). I am also influenced by bands of the late 60s - early 70s and admire Beck and Radiohead for their innovative music.

I want musicians who are CREATIVE, INSPIRED, DEDICATED and READY TO EXPERIMENT; ideally an other guitar player, a keyboard player, a good drummer, and a bass player. Probably also a DJ and cello / violin players from time to time.

I have been playing the guitar for a while but only got back into it recently. So far, I only have a few unfinished accoustic tunes and I have the intention of buying myself an amp very soon (any advice appreciated :) ) and I feel that it is now time for me to collaborate with others.

So there you go people, if ya think ya can take the challenge or know of somebody who would, ya can PM me and we can organise a jam one of these days.

NB: I forgot to mention I am based in Dublin

Oh and when I say 'heavy guitaring' I DO NOT mean heavy metal / hard rock.
More of a post-rock type of sound

Just to be a bit more specific...

    hi!
It was a surprise for me to hear about your project. I have been doing this for the last years, mixing electronic with guitars (electric, acoustic, delays, phasers, and different mix of effects) anything to get an original sound, even mixing electronic drums with real drums, and playing with voice effect, this kind of staff. If you want we can share songs, and check styles, ideas, etc. I do not know which are my influences, in fact I try to forget them, and create my own!
    write me to javiergomezmadrid@yahoo.es
    best regards.
good luck with your project anyway.
    Javi

I am still auditioning my dear... You will understand I need the right people for this.
How long have you been playing for? How do you rate yourself at the guitar? Do you have songs of your own? Have you ever played in front of an audience? How old are you?

    PM me your answers!!
