they shouldnt unless there is some sort of clause like
"cancel within 12 months of signing up, you will pay out your contract"

the best you could do is ring them and say you want to cancel and see what they say

Had chorus a year ago...just brought it back and gave them enough to cover the week I used it so that I wouldnt get any more bills from them.

Just go down to their office with the cables and box...drop it on their desk and sign off on it.

Never heard from them again...painless.
