Football playing in estates

Sorry if I've posted in the wrong place.

Just wondering does anyone know if kids/teenagers aren't allowed play football on the greens in estates anymore?

My brother had the guards called on him because a too generous shot caused the ball to land in a neighbours front garden. There was no damage to any property/plants but the lady (prob in her late 60's early 70's)(she's the mother of the guy who owns the house) freaked out.

The guards took my brothers details and said they were no longer allowed play football.
The house is situated 10 down from our parents house and looks onto the open area which is about the length of a real football pitch.

i think you have to play on the road these days ;)

    seriouslty im not sure,
check your county council bye-laws to see if theres a provision for ball games in open areas, many have one that isnt enforced on all green spaces.

be prepared to listen to plenty of b!tchies on here wholl want your brother hung,
theyres a few nutjobs who woukld swear at and threaten the likes of your brother.

As long as there's no "no ball games" sign I don't think you forbidden from having a bit of a kickabout on the green.

no laws, I'm in a private estate and plenty of people complain about shrubs etc. but the green in estates is there for the recreational purposes of the estate dwellers whether private or corporation. If there was a law against it the builders wouldn't have put in a green or there would be a sign. Don't worry about it but if your going against the gaurds make sure you substantial evidence.

Exactly, how dare children go out and enjoy the precious bits of good weather we get in this country and god forbid he should do it on public land. Little ba$tard.....
