One on German ebay too. The guy seems to speak fairly decent English and it'd be better to get a European amp anyway.

Edit: Marshall heads have voltage selection anyway I think, but it'd still probably be cheaper to get an amp posted from Germany than all the way from America.

250 euro? Are we living in la la land? Just because it's old doesn't mean it's cheap, quite the opposite.

And why in gods name would you bid on something with 6 days to go? Leave your bidding for the last moments, it just raises the price if you bid early. TBH, it wouldn't surprise me if this went for your price with an extra 0

You probably managed to insult the guy with a bid of 250 :p

Older Marshall amps (I haven't checked with the JCM900/2000 series tbh) all have voltage selection. SLs and JCM800s tend to go for over $1000 (the older they are the more expensive they get). There are always people looking to buy them.

Ebay bids in increments, the maximum bid of the last bidder is not displayed... if you put in a bid now, you'd automatically get outbid - until the highest bid is reached.

    D'oh!!!
Well, at least I was right about one thing .... it WAS a stupid question...

I think he did bid on the German one, but he automatically kept getting outbid by the guy who put in the highest bid. The guy put in a pretty high bid, which is not being displayed, so you'll keep bidding in small increments ad nauseam until you "overtake" him.
