Hey, does anyone know the main differences between single and double chain systems in a double bass pedal? Does a double chain just put up with more wear or something?

Id say cheaper pedals just have single chains.

I think double-chain pedals just take more abuse or something.

single chains would be lighter and give less resistance...double chains would have a more direct feel and the footboard would return much quicker...also as it wasn't me said doubles are more durable...so style/skill level/power in your legs should decide which to go for!
