    It's just a number. ie:

The postcode for Dublin 4 is 4. The postcode for Dublin 6 is 6.

    Just leave the field blank.

just type "na" (as in "not applicable"), most sites won't accept a completely blank zip code field. does ebay request a zip code on signup to ebay.ie as well?
