Not sure where else to post this, so I apologise if it's the wrong board. I was wondering if someone could tell me the required photo size for a Garda ID? I assume different sizes are required for passports, since a passport photo would probably cover a lot of the card itself.

Specific measurements would be appreciated. :p

When you get the form there will be dimensions on it. I cannot remember the specifics. I just took my picture with a digital camera and cut it to size though, worked fine.

Also, once you have sent everything in, it will be at least 2 months before you get your card.

They say it's anything up to 10 weeks, but it almost always is 10 weeks. Mine and my brother's both took 10 weeks as did all of my friends'.

considering it just takes just two minutes to print off in a magicard printer it a waste of time. only get it if you baby faced and have trouble getting in places. or change sex cause girls get in easier to clubs by showing bit of flesh and a cheeky smile believe me i used to do bouncing in waterford i,ve seen it all. :D
