Now please relax with the paranoia!!

MAIN TRAFFIC: There is a truck broken down on Custom House Quay on the inside lane. Expect delays. Traffic is at a crawl from the M1 onto the M50 southbound to the Coldcut Bridge and at the slip rd at the Red Cow Roundabout. Northbound it's very busy from Tallaght to the Blanchardstown Exit. Also busy from the N32 onto the M50. If you usually travel the N7 or N81 on a Friday evening expect things to be much heavier this evening as the Oxegen music festival gets underway at Punchestown tomorrow and a lot of people will travel down today. The campsite opened at 1 today so if you are going along you are advised to go as early as possible. Dublin Bus are running a shuttle bus service every 20 mins from Parnell Square West.

RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC: It's extremely busy from the Long Mile Rd outbound to the Red Cow Roundabout. In the city centre, traffic is very busy on Church St inbound back to Constitution Hill and North King St, Queen's St inbound, Capel St, the South and North Quays. Also busy on Amiens St from the North Strand inbound, Dame St outbound, from Clanbrassil St onto Patrick's St inbound and on Pearse St back to Erne St. It's outbound ways on the Swords Rd at the Port Tunnel works, on the Drumcondra Rd and on the Malahide Rd at Donnycarney. There are delays in both directions on the South Circular Rd between Kilmainham and Islandbridge. Long delays on the Greenhills Rd and in Ballymount.

ROADWORKS AND EVENTS: Until August 31, Old Yellow Walls Rd, Malahide is closed between the Dublin Rd and Millview Rd/Sea Rd junction. This is because of resurfacing work. Diversions are in place via Estuary Rd and Malahide Rd. You can expect delays especially during rush hour. There are delays at present around Mc Allisters Garage in Malahide. The Kilshane Road is closed to westbound traffic at Kilshane Cross on the N2. A diversion route via the Ward Road is in operation. Until Sep 2nd the Glenamuck Rd is closed from the new roundabout to the junction with Enniskerry Rd for water works. Diversions are signposted

RAIL: DART Upgrade works continue this weekend on Saturday and Sunday. This means there will be no DART services operating south of Connolly Station. FERRIES: All Irish Ferries and Stena Line sailings are running to schedule. AIR TRAVEL: Passengers travelling to Dublin Airport are reminded to arrive at least 90 minutes before their flight time. During the week the queuing time is about 15 minutes.

Thats OK, we were all new once. There is a specific forum for Commuting & Transport and your question would have been better asked there. The Feedback forum is specific to users giving feedback on the boards.ie (be it good or bad) ;)

Try and read the charters of the forums before posting - they'll tell you if your posing in the right place or not.

To answer your question, why not try aaireland.ie for traffic reports.
