An interesting article but a bit out of date since it was written late 2003. It mentions the AMD 64 being single channel but atm are dual channel capable. I wonder does it still hold true that they can still only manage 4 banks before losing bandwidth? I think it might be.

AMD64 754's are only single channel....its the 939's which are dual channel capable.
