no use on your phone, get them up here!

speaking of all things supercars... anyone spot the SLR floating about dublin yet? Usually in and around the M50. Last time it was seen it was on garage plates

Nasty panel gap in number 6. I'm sure Chief will weigh in saying it's a FIAT :)

Strangely attractive, for such an ugly car.

Heres a few pics i got of one in the garage at a certain dealer who was kind enough to bring us 'backstage'!

    Quality is poor so apologies.

I'm not the biggest fan of the Enzo styling, but I wouldn't say no to one myself! There was an SLR rebought by a Dubliner (I think) a little while ago, it was in the Motors section of the Irish Times a few weeks back. Now that car, I like.

Nah, it was privatly owned, so we wern't allowed to get in.
I can understand that though, I wouldn't be happy if i spent that money on a car, and the garage let people hop in and out!

    Can anyone guess the garage!!???!!!!
Gooooooo onnnnn, try your best to find the 'subtle' clue...

I'd have to agree, not a big fan of the Enzo, but I'd say it looks pretty awesome in the flesh.
I'd be more intrested in this SLR that's rumoured to be around.. did anyone see the pics of Prince Naseems one after he re-modeled a Golf & Mondeo with it? Pretty nasty crash...

Yeah, and then the stupid f**ker fled the scene!!!!

How many SLR's are there registered in britan, and the plate was NAS 1....
    What a dope...

Yup, completely made muck of it, nearly killed the guy in the Golf, and the himself and his made legged it.
These people don't deserve cars like those!

But anyway, back on topic.. I would well believe the sound from the Enzo was something to be enjoyed :D

    Depends on the car in question;

Ferrari Enzo = Yes, it looks better.
Lamborghini Murcielago = No, no it doesn't.

    Definatley.

    A red Ferrari
    A black/green/orange Lambo
    A silver Merc
    A black Beemer.

The only way to do it!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,521 ✭✭✭Fabritzo

That's the yellow Enzo that was out Phoenix park a couple of years back, it doesn't have the presence I'd imagine the red one has, not to meniton JK's black one.

Are the rumours of a SLR in Dublin true?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 54 ✭✭slowhands

Dont think Ferraris should come in yellow, tis a bit of a girly colour for with that much power behind it, a bit like painting a sherman tank baby blue!!It was parked on double yellow lines i see, hope it got towed!!!

I read in the Indo about two months ago that two SLR's have been bought in Ireland but only one has been registered.

Indeed Black is the only colour I would ever consider - I've seen pics of a black Enzo and it's     God I'm stunned at there being one in this country of any colour at all but in Black it really looks amazing.

    dahamsta:D :D
but the enzo reg cannot be right as in ireland you cannot have personalised plates. so it must be a uk reg car. and if that guy owns a uk plate with enzo on then he MUST be loaded as those plates cost min 150,000 pound.

guys anyone know how to make quick money:p

guys i was right. it was des cullen that imported the yellow and red enzo.
Ireland's most prominent supercar dealer, Des Cullen is also due to take delivery of six Aston Martin DB9s this year, all going to eager customers. Other cars on the way include a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti (reviewed on page four) and a Maserati Quattroporte, both due in January. Cullen has good connections within Ferrari, being one of the lucky owners of a Ferrari Enzo last year. In fact he secured delivery of two Enzos at the time, one red and one yellow. Both have been sold since on the continent. The fact that he picked up two out of the limited production of 150 must undoubtedly irk several Ferrari dealers who were left Enzo-less.

THIS IS FROM A SOURCE ON THE WEB

The Enzo is pure delight in comparison to the new Scaglietti - I sat in one a few weeks ago and it is like a truck. A very low truck, but I thought it looked like Ferrari were just practising.

Owning an Enzo on its own, doesnt qualify ya for "loaded" titles these days? Shame...back to boozing with the commoners i guess.

They first went for a limited production of 349, then 399 with the demand and finally an extra 20 for charity.

I have no life, i know all about cars![but i dont no how to spell]
