    Hi,
Just thinking of buying a new computer off marxcomputers and was wondering if anyone had any previous dealings with them or bought any computers from them?
    Cheers

If you mean are they above board then yes they are fine.
If you are looking to build the absolute cheapest computer then you will find cheaper on the net.
Overall - if you want your parts now(if you are collecting and you ever want to return ) then they are the best in dublin....

I've bought a bunch of components from them over time. They are generally good. I've found them to be cheaper than anywhere else in dublin. Their range is not MASSIVE, but it's quite good. Komplett is cheaper, but when you factor in postage (I call into Marx in person) it tends to even out.

I've only had to return one item (lower return rate than Komplett), and it wasn't even broken, just didn't suit my setup. It was my fault, but they took the return.

overall, if they have what you're after, I'd recommend them.

I think they're a great retailer / e-shop. Never had any difficulties with them and bought a fair bit of stuff off them. I like that you can drop in to pick stuff up.

I've bought lots of stuff from them over the years. Handy if you just want to call in and get the item right now instead of waiting 3-5 days for GLS from Komplett or Jes. Prices are probably as good as you'll get in a bricks 'n mortar shop.

I had a similar situation with Marx, returned something I decided I didn't want and they took it back no problem. Lots of shops would've jerked me around but they were totally decent. Good prices and shipping also.

Cheers lads, Ive decided to go with these. Its not the cheapest place around (but still fairly decent), but they seem actually genuinely interested in providing good quality stuff. :)

So good I had created the following image

They'll also order almost anything under the sun in for you on request.

uses them all the time , very helpful people , great to have a walk in store where the prices can be as good as komplett on some items , dabs is starting to get a dodgy with customer service

would check they have itesm in stock though before you travel , some items sell very quickly

Yup good general all rounder, going there years. And if you want to get good tea ask the fella with the pony tail.I think along with computers, tea is his forte.

I actually asked him one day, whats with all the tins in back "My gran used to store leaf tea in something like that,i said to him"..He said "Cant get good tea in ireland,so doing it myself".... :D

From what I recall the old website used to have a link on it to buy tea.
