i didn't the all the poker anagrams when i first started playing on line

when someone typed in ul after a bad beat i thought they were being a smart arse and saying "you lose"

i'm still not entirely sure of the meaing of lol - some people seem to stick it before/ after everything they say

I used to think lol meant "Lord Oh Lord" but after chating with people while playing i think it means "Lots of Luck"

When i first started playing i thought lol was a picture of a player raising his arms in delight after winning the pot. Though i used to think to myself sometimes 'whats he celebrating for he's just after losing a big pot on the river'!.
