    England v Australia
    Lord's
    The NatWest Challenge game 2

Australia won the toss and decided to field

Australia beat England by 7 wkts.

    England: TOTAL: 8 wkts , 50 overs 223
    Australia: TOTAL: 3 wkts , 44.2 overs 224

    Full details: http://www.sportinglife.com/cricket/scorecard/11774.html

England's top order fail once again, they did well to post 223, Aussies made light work of the total. Good knock from Ponting.

Impossible to separate these two teams after 6 ODI’s so far, looking forward to the Ashes now as these ODI’s have dragged on a bit too long, 7 games is too much imo.

i agree...wish the bloody ashes would just start.

Two very evenly matched teams.....about time the ashes was a decent scrap as opposed to a walk in the park for the Aussies :D

The One day teams are very closely matched. Who would have thought the australians would win this challenge series after the thrashinfg they got in game I? :D
