Juventus, have done treble, treble, double in the last 3 years.

Club has ~£120 million in the bank. They've given me about £30 during the summer, I bought Lucio for £20 million cos I was desperate for a CB, also signed some contracts to keep my good players happy, bought one decent youngster. About £4 million left.

They won't give me any more money, every other club from Real Madrid to Bayern to feckin Tottenham are throwing £15 mil, then £21 mil all over the shop.
I tried asking for more, even issued ultimatum (after saving game) but nothing. Is this just the way it goes?
How do all the other clubs get so much money??
Real have spent 50mil/40mil/108mil in the last 3 seasons, and only received a total of 40mil in return.

    grr

I had a similar problem with liverpool. I needed to free up some money I sold some of my older high earners and replaced them with very good young players on lower pay and renegotiated some contracts, giving big bonuses for goals etc instead of cash. The board rewarded me for sorting the finances by giving me some extra money to spend on top of what was in the budget. I think it was about 20m xtra.

Well if you're winning everything, the board probably have decided your team is good enough and you don't need alot of money to improve different aspects of it.

lafortezza: Why do you still need to buy superstars at all after 3 years. Surely you now have a couple of Italian U21s coming through your youth system ?

I found this out the other day when I was cheating(I know I was very bold :D ).

When you add manager to a team with a lot of money(ie Chelski) and get them to buy a player that is not in your plans for their entire transfer budget. When the deal goes through you will have more money. But if you do it again after you retired the first time, you will notice a smaller budget, but not that small.

What happened to me was Chelsea had 40.5m and I did whats listed above and the second time I did it Chelsea had a budget of 37.5m. Just a 3m drop!

There's how you get more money :) .

What I did with Celtic was spend no money, I wait for the good players with contracts running out and get them on frees. I got Martin Petrov, Kikín Fonseca, Barreto, Robbie Keane, Joaquin, Saviola, Risi, Saja all on freebies. A way around the problem. They gave 100m to spend a couple of years into the game but that was only after I clear the loan, and sold the likes of Adu for 45m
