apartment shared ownership scheme(dublin city)

    hi folks, i am buying a apartment at the moment under this scheme and
    because of bidding war the apartment went a bit over the asking price it was still within the limit of 250 set by the council so i procedded with the sale but the council have just got back to me and their valuer has valued it at 5 grand less than the agreed price and they are telling me i have to renegotiate i think i am real danger of losing this place and i really want it has anyone got any advice (you can appeal the deicision has annyone had any experience of this?? )any feedback would be greatly appreciated

    Are you willing or capable of stumping up the extra €5,000?

    Should you be agreeing to a price over the valuers price?

    250? I thought the max value of shared ownership property was capped at 230k?
