Hi there, I'm trying to insure my two retired greyhounds, and when I got in touch with Allianz Direct, they refused cover. Their reasoning was that they could never guarantee that we'd never race the dogs. Does any one know of any other companies who might offer cover?? Thanks!

Unfortunately, I don't think there are any other companies in Ireland that insure pets - which is a disgrace.

In the UK there are at least 5 insurance companies that insure pets.... guess we're just still lagging behind...
