I was thinking of doing that myself but dont think i will now Audioslave are on at 4 but can it be done?

That pdf one looks kinda real. The mysterious codes down the left certainly suggest that this comes from a more official source.

Republic of Loose time on the PDF file is correct.

the first excel sheet hasn't a few bands on it and i haven't looked at the pdf file yet

I likes the look of that pdf

Thought no other bands were playing while the headliners were on. IF this is so then the pdf must be wrong. Doesn't anyone know?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,834 ✭✭✭Toast

No there are always other bands playing while the headline is on. The PDF is kinda of interesting because it almost effectively makes Prodigy the headliners on Saturday.

Thing is the running order and band list is correct and the times do add up so even if its not real it must be close enough. Though I do dislike that alot of earlier bands only get 30 minute sets.

I reckon this is real or someone went to a LOT of effort to fake it.

Not too confident on Bjorn again headlining saturday night.
On ticketmaster, they have give the lineup order for the mainstage as :

    - Green Day
    - The Frames
    - Queens Of The Stone Age
    - Snoop Dogg
    - Razorlight
    - Kaiser Chiefs
    - Saw Doctors
    - Bjorn Again
    - The Stands

Which makes a million times more sense!!

It makes sense to use Bjorn Again to calm the crowd down and send them home

I think their both wrong, my mate works at the festival and the pdf has bands in the wrong slots and bands with wrong times.

I wouldnt trust anything that's posted as the times can change at any time and you might miss a band.

With whats happened in London I wouldnt be surprised if theres a few last minute cancelations from bands so probably all timetables are going to be wrong now.

    according to http://www.biffyclyro.com/

"The boys will hit the Green Room stage at Oxegen, on Saturday at 2.15pm, for 30 minutes".

i'm hopeful the pdf is right but can anyone shed a little more light on it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 347 ✭✭Norinoco

Wouldnt bet on the PDF too much.

    Biffy Clyro:
    His website : 2:15 - 2:45
    The PDF : 2:45 - 3:15

Maybe, bring a copy anyway and compare it to the official one tomorrow...

  • Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 11,382 Mod ✭✭✭✭lordgoat

the date on the pdf is 01/07 and the biffy website time is newer than that so they could have gotten bumped forward 30mins but all the other bands i've seen times for match up so if its just one or two i'll be happy enough

    No,

I've compared the PDF timetable for Sunday against the official one and they're the same. You should check out Audioslave though, I think they're doing a couple of RATM songs in their set now.

Bjorn Again weren't headlining ... they were just on after the headline to slow the departure from the main stage.

BTW the big screens at the main stage will also be displaying all stage times during the day.

  • Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 11,382 Mod ✭✭✭✭lordgoat

I printed out the PDF version on Friday night, delighted i was gonna save myself getting ripped off at the concert. Printed out three copies.
Halfway to Punchestown, i realised I hadn't packed one of them.
Such a sickening feeling handing over a tenner for a few glossy cards on a string, which kept falling out!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 347 ✭✭Norinoco

On the friday, there was hundreds of timetables sold without the page with either saturdays or sundays dance tent timetable on it.

They had to borrow my PDF sheet to get the times of the gigs!!
