    Now that rocked!

I don't think I'd be able to stomach it now though.

There used to be some name for a coke and vanilla ice cream now that a similiar thing was mentioned. I probably wouldn't give a thank you for it now but I liked them alot back when I was a young un'.

That Coke and Ice Cream must have been popular because I can remember many a pint of it when I was younger. I havent tried it in years though but might try some this weekend if I remember.

    A coke float?

always thought it was called an Icecream Soda, or something like that

here in Liemrick you can get Shannon Rasberryade, Limeade, and cream soda

all of these with ice cream were delish. also with coke was nice. I dont know about the orange and ice cream that sounds dodgy.

anyone remember milk mates. it was like a syrip you had to add to milk. availible in strawberry and chocolate.

    A coke float?

Sounds like the one, I'm a little apprehensive to try one now because I'll probably say "ah this is crap" and another fond childhood memory will be destroyed.

They're making a comeback I'm told. Haven't tried the latest incarnations yet but there's time yet.

Opal fruits/Skittles and lemonade (leave it for an hour, remove the skin, delicious)

Millions and lemonade (used to loose a lot of the lemonade cause it fizzed up so much)

    Vodka and coke :D

Seriously that orange and ice cream was absolutely lovely. I can still remember the taste *makes mental note to have one over weekend*

ahhhh.. this brings me back alright :)

best concoction ever : Red Lemonade with Milk .. me & best mate drank it every day and it was bloody lovely at the time.

At the moment, mate mentioned above likes putting brown sauce in his tea , a la " Intermission " style.... can't say i'm gonna try it out though :P

And as for the orange & ice-cream idea, totally beautiful it is , first tried it about 15-16 years ago when my aunt came back from America for a few weeks and let me try it out... guess what i'm buying tomorrow ?? TK orange and some ice-cream :)

A glass of 7up and a packet of Skittles, we called it Rainbow Soda

The ice cream and Coke thing is called a Coke Float, you can do it with other fizzy drinks too, they still sell them in a pizza place called Pizzas & Cream in Bray (which, by the way, sells the best ice cream ever) Pretty sure they do them in Eddie Rockets too

I remember being in the kitchen when I was a wee one, and my eldest brother (I'm the youngest) started passing out glasses of milk, pretending it was a bar (he was a waiter in the local pub at the time). It was the best tasting milk I've ever had! Was so fun too..
