Ok, I'm very drunk and its late so I'll make this fairly short.

I just won 2K for Santa Strike Force in the Full Tilt Poker party. They have a shootout tournie during the party, the winner from each table gets 1K towards the charity of their choice. I played on Howard Lederer's table and raise 400 (on 75/150) with JJ on the button. Flop comes Qxx and Lederer goes all in for my 600 left. I think about it for a while as I dont think he's trying to bluff me when the guy standing behind me (who I've told about SSF) says "i'll give you the 1K for your charity if you call and lose". So now, if I cant refuse really, I can win at max 1K for SSF if I win the table and I can get 1K just by calling with a fairly strong hand anyway. So I call and he has QJ. True to his word the guy takes my details and gives me his card...

I get into another one (its a freeroll for 1k after all!) and win my table, in fact I play better then I have in a long time. Scratch up another 1k for SSF and I'm onto the final table of winners who play for 10K. Guy goes all in, I know he's full of crap and I have AKc. So I reraise all in to corner him. A bigger stack thinks about it for ages and then calls me and shows AJ, original better (who Mike says is a big time pro I didnt recognise) turns over QT, but the flp comes TTJ and santa went back to the north pole...

Still 2k start to this years fund aint bad! (Wish i could play like that for myself!)
